Resolution criteria

  • Resolves to the team officially declared champion of the 2025 Laver Cup (San Francisco; Sep 19–21, 2025) on the Laver Cup Scores & Results page for San Francisco. If the official site is unavailable, use the ATP tournament page or ESPN’s Laver Cup scoreboard as backups. (lavercup.com)

  • Per event rules: first team to 13 points wins; if tied 12–12 after the scheduled matches, an overtime doubles set decides the Cup. If a team reaches 13 before all matches are played, remaining matches are not played. (lavercup.com)

  • If the 2025 event is canceled or no champion is declared by October 1, 2025, resolves N/A.

Background

  • Annual team event: Team Europe vs Team World; three days, weighted scoring (Fri 1 pt/match, Sat 2, Sun 3). 2025 edition is at Chase Center, San Francisco, Sep 19–21. (lavercup.com)

  • 2025 captains: Yannick Noah (Europe) and Andre Agassi (World), with vice captains Tim Henman and Pat Rafter. (lavercup.com)

  • Team Europe are the defending champions, having won Berlin 2024, 13–11 over Team World. (lavercup.com)

Considerations

  • Because of weighted scoring and the 12–12 decider, Sunday outcomes can swing the Cup; early leads are not definitive. (lavercup.com)

  • Rosters may change due to captain’s picks or late substitutions; the official site posts updates close to the event. (lavercup.com)
