Context: The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) just issued a cease-and-desist order to Kalshi, requiring it to halt operations in the state by 5:00 PM on March 14, 2025.

Resolution

• This market resolves YES if Nevada residents are able to trade in sports contracts on March 16th 2025.

• If Kalshi halts operations in Nevada entirely, then by definition they cannot trade sports contracts & it resolves NO.

• It doesn't matter if it's possible to circumvent the restrictions. What matters is if a self-identifying Nevada resident could normally login to Kalshi and place a bet.

• A consensus of credible reporting will be used.

• In case there is some change during the day, what matters is whether someone could hypothetically place a trade at noon PT.
