What is The Scheme?
@WrongoPhD criticized "Aeon Castle" because he was dissatisfied that it was an atmospheric track, designed to invoke a fantasy castle, and stated that he felt that none of the songs posted so far had a hook.
"The Scheme" is a direct response to his statement. While this song still builds its own world, I created it with an intentional anthemic hook that uses a traditional verse-chorus structure, hoping to demonstrate that it's possible to have music that at the same time is both unique and can also be played in a club.
This song isn't going to receive a very detailed description because it doesn't need one. It's just a good pop song. Listen and vote!
1,000Thanks for making this song. I do like it better than the previous song. I found it easier to finish, but still didn't feel like there was anything to which I wanted to sing along. It is still a song I would have skipped if it came up while driving in the car, but it made me more optimistic about your attempts in the future.
@WrongoPhD I think that you just don't like the type of music I'm creating. This song has a like ratio of 30:1, whereas a "really good" track target is 25:1, so I think that Manifold is becoming an outlier.
