What makes you think it's looking more likely + what odds do you think it happens?

@elf the US is seeking a policy of appeasment with Russia with regards to its war of aggression against Ukraine. This encourages China to start its own war to annex Taiwan. The US is looking very weak now.

@MalachiteEagle My (limited) understanding is that if China were intent on taking Taiwan in the short to medium term they would have done so during the Ukraine + Oct 7th era as military resources were spread thin.
