Closes on day the Nintendo Switch 2 releases. If it releases on multiple days, then will resolve titles on every day the Switch 2 is released.
Games already released for the first Switch are not considered a launch title, unless they are remakes. A remake must involve extra human effort, a software feature that upscales games to 4K/60fps is not a remake. However, games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe can be considered to have additional human effort to their originals.
I will settle ambiguities how I see fit.
Perhaps a new Fire Emblem game will come out too?
It hasn't been that long since the latest one for Switch (Fire Emblem Engage) but from what I understand that one didn't generally do too well/wasn't highly rated among players compared with the previous Fire Emblem Three Houses, so it's at least possible they'll make another one I'd say.
@Kronopath that was by the developers of the Link’s Awakening remake, right? I imagine it would be the same team behind BotW and TotK. Actually, for that very reason I’d guess NO.
